I think that perhaps he is an incredible collaborator more so than a standalone composer; it just seems that he knows how to change things for the better... I can't attribute complete originality of the album to Frizzell though partially because of his own track record. I really also have no clue how Frizzell and Edelman put together this album, nor do I know exactly what happened, but this was the first time (ever) that I've heard a combined effort culminate in a *full* score so utterly impressive, seamless, and fluid.

As a side note, the deleted scenes for G&G were deleted for a good reason. (-;

If you haven't already seen this film, go see it now. Some of the most poignant moments become monumental tear-jerkers thanks to this incredible score!
