Absolute beauty of "Vida Cor Meum"   Sunday, February 18, 2001 (2:33 p.m.)

Track 12, "Vide Cor Meum," deserves an oscar all by itself! I cannot stop welling up from its beauty. Was this from an actual opera or was the opera scene written for the film? Forgive me for not reading the other comments. It certainly may have been explained before. Thx.

I agree 100% on your comments about "Vide Cor Meum" deserving an Oscar. I saw the movie on Saturday and haven't gotten the song out of my mind. It gave the movie such a meaning and touched me in a way I can't describe. Since then I've been searching for the actual Opera to purchase and hope there is more in the recording to add to the beauty of "Vide Cor Meum", I can only imagine what it would be like to experience the opera. I know there is a soundtrack but I want more, like the entire Opera on CD.

If anyone knows of a way that I can find this recording, please let me know.

Please Help!

Hi
I agree with you both.
I have this song on my pc if anyone wants me to e-mail it to them let me know and I will and the song is from the opera Dante's "la vita nuova".

I have not seen the play but it looks so beautiful.

Thanks

Mandy
