  Kitaro's scores


This was not Kitaro's first film score. He has written a number of scores for the Japanese market going back to the late 70s, the anime film "Queen Millenia" and the "Silk Road" TV series among them (the latter ran for 5 years). Both are similar in style to his electronic albums of the era (and were sold as New Age albums in the West), but are soundtracks nevertheless.
