Hook bootleg info?   Sunday, February 10, 2002 (2:29 p.m.)

I've been considering buying the bootleg to this score for a long time because i love the original so much. I can't see the possibility of any re-releases in the next few years. As i've had bad experiences with bootlegs in the past, I would like to know how the sound quality on the concord records 9921 release is.Is there any one who puchased this and could help? $40.00 is a lot of cash and I just want to be sure. Thanks.

I have the concorde 2-CD bootleg and the sound quality is really bad, but listenable when you consider it's the best score of the century

Hey, there is another new release of the Hook score. The sound quality is very good (almost the same as the original)and it has lots of alternate tracks.

The bootleg has excellent sound quality and it's worth the 40$ any time specially because the music is so great!!! Get it ASAP!

I have the three-disc complete score, and its a wonderful listen. Great sound quality, and only one track has FX in it, but they're used for demonstration purposes.

Personally, I think Williams is good but overrated. However, I love this score. 5 stars all the way!
