Hook Bootleg!   Saturday, August 28, 2004 (9:03 a.m.)

I'm looking for a Hook Bootleg! Can anyone say, where to find such CD's??
Thanks in advance

BTW, John Williams is the best soundtrack-composer of the world and Hans Zimmer the worst!!!

I think Zimmer can't be compared to Williams ... different approach to movie music. You either love his modern scores, or you hate them ... that's how it always was and always will be, unless Zimmer levels up to a classical score composer, which would be a great loss, for there's more than enough great classical composers out there.

Look at my instructions under the "Anyone know where I can get the 4 CD set of this? *NM*" thread. You should be able to find just about any JW bootleg imaginable for free. Note that the common 4-disc "Ultimate Edition" is pretty much perfect, but there is the occasional mixing and volume issues (i.e. muffling or hiss) but none of these are particularly distracting.

Excepting your thanks,
Tim
