I was just listening to the soundtrack and it occured to me that the cue "Escape" is a rip off of his Metamorphosis 2 transcribed for orchestra. Even Glass can't help from quoting himself.

It wasn't a rip-off. It was a deliberate direct quotation as this cue was used in the temp score for the film. I believe it's even credited as such in the film credits.
