  Scares Kids? I beg to differ.


I love this movie and its soundtrack. They're both very powerful pieces of work. And I love the chants and darker quality. And the vocals done on the songs are awesome (got to love Tom Hulce and the late Tony Jay). I have to disagree on one thing though:

The movie (or soundtrack) is not that scary.

I saw this movie when I was six years old in the theater. Not just once. But TWICE. And I did not need to walk out either of those times. In fact, I probably would have watched HoND a LOT if my mom would have bought the movie for me (she wouldn't because she thought it was "too scary").
