Although Beltrami's score is one of the most anonymus, boring and uninspiring I have ever listened to, I'm glad that Jones did not score this. Glad not because the film is poor, but glad because we would hear the 10th variation of his syncoped-rhythm action music that was so magnificent in "Dark City" and now become his boring cliche. He used it almost in every of his post '98 scores - The Mighty, LXG or Merlin (probably also in 13 Days).
