Like many other user-reviewers, I want to write -- simply -- that this editorial review is completely offensive.

As a site such as this should be aware, every score is written for a particular film. Context matters. In the Bedroom is a particularly, soft, subtle, tense, silently maddening film. As such, this score is a perfect complement. I am sorry if you don't think this album makes great listening for one's car CD player, but it is an extremely effective piece of film scoring.
