It's funny, one of my other favorite scores,
Maurice Jarre's "The Mosquito Coast"
is also always touted as
"The Worst Ever" by critics.
As a composer, I find these wonderful in their minimalism.
Ultimately, it comes down to how
well the music serves the film.
Not, "this is great music to play in my living room".
