Hi Folks, remember "Fargo"? a very similar idea. Remember the score? Exactly.

Burwell does it better. Of course he uses folk-tunes and the directors he works with are truly more experimental and are deeper thinkers, and are much more ironic, than the young and heretofore spineless hotshot Chris Nolan, but, still...

writing film music is about politics. if you can't convince the director to give you some freedom to shine, then you haven't done your job.
