  The Score

This score is extraordinary, that to my mind holds up without the accompaniment of the picture.

The score is aboslutely perfect for the film itself, this is a given. It embodies the all the emotions that are in the script and the director's interpretation; fear, conflict, acceptance, madness, and ultimately freedom.

I think this is a masterwork. What Mr. Julyan does from here willl be very interesting to hear and see. And, having listened to the score on CD many times over, I feel it is as strong as any music I've heard.
