You go, G.K. I got your back. Zimmer re-uses his themes too much to deserve this kind of attention. And Christian Clemmenson is great at reviewing. Look at the earlier Zimmer scores like Crimson Tide. It got 5 stars but then Zimmer became more used to writing the same theme for most of the movies he does. So as the scores tend to sound the same the scores go lower. It's not like we need rocket science, he says it in the reviews he writes. And "The Holiday" is not a good example of an "original" score. Listen to "As Good As It Gets" and then come back and tell me it was a great "ORIGINAL SCORE."
