I just don't follow your logic anymore...

I'll start by saying that you were absolutely right about Djawadi's score. But if you gave his crap one star, there is no justification for giving Debney two stars. You are too preoccupied by the fact that Debney didn't come up with a memorable theme, and thank God he didn't, Tyler's theme is alreay driving me up the walls.

What about Debney's impressive symphonic complexity? What about The Kiss? It might not be that romantic, but it worked in the scene!

In short: yet again you are comparing to what came before and what should be there instead of judging what IS actually there. If the director wanted an atypical score, maybe he didn't even want a memorable theme!
