Another 4-star dud?

Another 4-star dud?   Sunday, August 8, 2004 (2:02 p.m.)

Expectations can do funny things for a guy.
I bought the score because I love the type of action music Zimmer gives, but I'm a bit underwhelmed as of yet.

i practically have to listen to every CD ten times before I really enjoy is, but this seems to be shaping up to be another X-Men 2 or Tomb Raider 2, scores that I had high hopes for, thanks to Clem, and disappointed.

Normally, I don't have a problem with "cliche" music (if it worked once, it will work again, and usually even bigger and better the second time around) but the ethereal, vocal elements are simply leaving me limp.

I'll listen again and again, but the overall effect of KING ARTHUR is "Where's my CRIMSON TIDE?"
