Comments about the soundtrack for King Arthur (Hans Zimmer)

Williams, Horner, Sylvestri...these guys haven't taken there music to the next leve!

I hate hearing reviews saying that Zimmer hasn't yet taken his music to the next level! what a load of BULL!!! Zimmer has raised the bar for film music. Williams, Horner(so unorigonal), Sylvestri etc haven't changed there style at all! These are the guys who need to try something new, not Zimmer. Don't get me wrong, Williams, Horner(in the old days) and co have done some great music but they have never changed there style and sound. Why is Zimmer the only one to be pointed out as not changing his style? If you have many soundtracks of all of these composers, Zimmer has the most variety and his scores always have a signature to them which makes each score different. Hannibal which i put up there with Williams' Schindler's List is so very classical but you all forget about that score. I find the only people who don't like Zimmer are classical music buffs. These people should not be listening to film music because film music involves any musical style from anywhere around the globe. Has any composer though come close to creating a theme so powerful as the 'Crimson Tide'theme? NO!!! not until Zimmer scored King Arthur's main them. Zimmer must be doing something right for films because directors want him to do there movies. Embrace Zimmer as well as other composers but don't bag the guy for being the BEST!!! be safe and have fun and enjoy ur music
