I knew I was in for a real treat when I heard that James Newton Howard would be collaborating with Shyamalan again. What I didn't expect was to be as blown away by this score as I was. LADY IN THE WATER is hypnotic, suspenseful, emotional, and altogether one of Howard's most powerful scores to date, and definitely worth some end-of-the-year awards.
