A fun score, if a bit too long

This score has all the classic Giacchino energy to it, but it does suffer a bit from the comedy style writing. Some of the great moments are really great. I love the use of banjo in "In Search of... Holly", as well as the creative use of the Theremen. But it does overstay its welcome a bit. The action writing does share much with "Speed Racer" and "Star Trek", but lacks some of the fluidity of those two scores. Still, fans of the composer should enjoy this and find plenty of entertaining highlights. As usually the final two tracks are worth seeking out for a Giacchino compilation.
