Throughout the score, I heard some cues from "King Kong", and others injected into this film score. Even tiny bits of "The Happening" was used for this film. However, I have no complaints. The movie was great, the score was fantastic. Jams Newton Howard has moved to be my second favorite film composer, behind John Williams and James Horner tied for 1st. Zimmer is in third. Howard has truely established himself as a recognizable composer. Look for this score to be nominated for best film score for 2010. Howard deserves it! Well done.
