Imagine a score like

Any idiot can compare Star Wars and The Green Mile

I'm not sure what the comparison suggests but I, for instance, choose The Green Mile as much more exciting, unpredictable and moody score comparing to Williams's big orchestra that makes me dizzy at moments. It depends on the individual taste and because film scores covers probably every possible music style we have so many different opinions about the actual quality of the music. The best idea would be to discuss only the individual point of view and not generalize saying that the music is simply boring!! It is not - would be my personal opinion then.
