last samurai music in memoirs of a geisha   Tuesday, November 15, 2005 (12:32 p.m.)

in the trailer for the upcoming movie, memoirs of a geisha, hans zimmers music from the last samurai (the way of the sword) as well as another composers music is used. does anyone know why they chose to use this music, seeing that john williams is the film's composer? are both scores produced by the same record label?
