I sure hope he does a good job. Otherwise it would be a waste of a good epic!
These type of films you don't give to just anybody to score. But there are exceptions such as Howard Shore on Lord of the Rings. That turned out to be a fantastic score wich will definatly put him with the ranks of Williams, Goldsmith, and Zimmer
