I don't pretend to know what the entire discussion is about, but I can say that releasing venom upon this person for stating his opinion is not the christian way to respond. He obviously is ignorant[meaning untaught or unlearned](not stupid) of what christianity is and what a real relationship with God entails. Here, my friend, is my answer to your question. Much like the samurai( which means one who serves) pledged their lives to thier fuedal lords, so we as christians pledge our lives to our Lord-Jesus Christ. Just as a Samurai would commit sepeku if his lord lost his life, we also in a spiritual sense end our own lives and allow Christ to live through us. That is what Jesus meant when he said "any man that gives up his life for my sake will surely find it." I don't know what anyone else may have told you, but there are many similarities between the way of the Samurai and the Way of Christ. The biggest exception is that "we wrestle not against flesh and blood,...". Perhaps that can answer the question that you posed so rudely. If you have any more please feel free to contact me. May God bless you and keep you. As for the rest of you remember the teachings of our Lord and do not respond to hatred or anger with anger but with love because that is the way of the world and we are not of the world.
