Bagger Vance (The Legend of)

I do not know who was responsible for the TITLE of this film, but they have wicked sense of humour, the title is one of the slickest pieces of humour I have ever seen, ie, (BAGGER VANCE< that is when said quickly in english, BAG OF ANTS).
Someone on this movie had a very wicked but very subtle of humour or maybe the writer of the original book did at the very least?
