these scores are all extremely similar in

He came up with his wonderful

not to BASH Elfman, mind you..
but Horner, on this score, has delivered...something fresh, exciting,

something even the Mask of Zorro didn't have...truly

To answer you question. I own 12 Elfman scores and I absolutly do not agree with you. It seems you haqve not yet listened to Sommerspy, Black Beauty or Big Fish. Horner...sometimes I don't know if i love his music or hate it. He is one of the laziest composers, who steals from himself over and over again. If you want to talk about carbon copies then listen to Backdraft, Apollo 13, Braveheart, Titanic and Deep Impact in one go and you will know what I mean. I can absolutly not agree with you.
