I had low expectations on this score. I thought it was one of many overrated James Horner works. But, after listening to it, I was blown away. Seriously. If any reader here is left with any doubt, this score is excellent.

I haven't seen the movie, just brief scenes, and judging by the story, it didn't need such a massive orchestral score. Forget Titanic (or Avatar). This is one of James' truly best scores. Almost entirely original, by the way. No danger theme or other self-rip offs. Actually, most rip-offs come from this score, hehehe.
