Legends Of The Fall   Tuesday, March 11, 2003 (8:26 p.m.)

Hey all.. I havnt seen this movie in years and basicly forgot everything that happend... But I just watched it last night. This is the best movie I have ever seen... kind of depression though lol... I cried for 10 minutes after that movie... Something about change and death that always gets me... But thats why this movie is so great... It hits the heart of things and makes you want to watch it over and over again. Anyway... just wanted to let you guys know what I thought about the movie... Oh yeah.. and Brad Pitt in that movie... Needless to say more lol.

>I have loved this movie, and it's absolutely haunting, beautiful score for years. Legends is in my top five favorite movies. I cannot fully describe how the music makes me feel, but I am very affected by it. I was thrilled when I heard Horner would be doing the soundtrack to Titanic, and it is equally beautiful and magnificent.Other soundtracks he has done that are incredible and moving are Braveheart, Apollo 13 and Field of Dreams. I believe James Horner will go on as one of the most talented and influential composers in history. Before Horner, John Williams was my favorite modern composer. He cannot compare to James Horner, who's music is timeless. I look forward to hearing ALOT more of James Horner's scores! Also, one last note, his music can make me cry like no other.Examples...The Wedding song, and main theme of Legends, Love theme from Braveheart, and the tracks Rose,Not able to stay/unwilling to leave, A Promise Kept, and An Ocean of Memories from Titanic's soundtrack. Okay, i admit I bawled for days after I first heard Titanic's soundtrack, I still cry over it. It is very personal for me. His music is very close to my heart.

What is this, some kind of confessions website?????...u my lady are nuts...totally beserk....let me quote:

"Also, one last note, his music can make me cry like no other.Examples...The Wedding song, and main theme of Legends, Love theme from Braveheart, and the tracks Rose,Not able to stay/unwilling to leave, A Promise Kept, and An Ocean of Memories from Titanic's soundtrack. 'You still cry over it', does this mean...when your walking down the street, you just start bawling you eyes out? Or how bout speaking to a mate...you just start flooding the hall?

Haha, it does make me laugh the way youve spoken about this...I mean, do you have a shrine of Horner? or dream about the day youll meet up, only for him to witness you being dragged away by security guards because of obsessive drooling over him?

His music is also very close to my heart...but so having a life-take a few points from this, crazy girl!

Lady in Red - Yes, Legends of the Fall is a brilliant movie (I saw it last week) and the cinematography, actors and story line are fanatastic, but one must realise that this is a 'Filmtracks' website - and here we talk about the score of the film, NOT how many boxes of tissues you passed through in 10 minutes! Needless to say no more.
