I prefer Prince of Egypt....
nothing can beat "The Burning Bush" or "Deliver Us" , "The Plagues" or "Goodbye Brother "

AMEN!! While I positively ADORE both the LK and PoE soundtracks, PoE takes the cake. I can NOT, repeat, can NOT get thru "Burning Bush" scene without shedding tears BECAUSE of that piece!! Kudos to Zimmer!

Lion King for me. A lot more thematic and a lot more range (obviously not based on the OST but from the film). Tracks such as 'This Land' , 'To Die For' and 'King of Pride Rock' are very deep and evocative. On PoE the tracks that stand out are 'Burnisg Bush' and the deleted 'Chariot Race'. What I love about PoE though is that it is way more ethnic and traditional as oppose to LK which seems a bit too sterotypcial. Also, 'Tzipporah' is my favourite track of PoE even though many overlook that amazingly sombre track. In the end I would just stick to LK for its grandeur themes and amazing tribal chorals.
