My Name is Kimmy, I'm doing an assignment on the contrast of African and Western Music used in the Lion King Score. Just wondering if anyone can help me??

There really isn't any solid stuff about the african score used in the film.. Also has any one have any rough ideas about where the film is set?? I thought it was set in Zimbarbwee.. but i just need to double check??

But I also Want to say that half way through the track "under The Stars" there is an amazing ensemble of african percussion and voice!! I reccomend it to any of you who likes to feel the rhythm in their heart!!

BTW is anyone into African Drumming?? More Specifically Western African Drumming??

Please Send Me An Email If You Think You Kan Help Me!! Of If you have a passion for the score in the Lion King.. I am on MSN too.. u kan add me if you want!! I am awaiting to hear from you ASAP!!
