Ashi-taka, who prefers to refer to himself in third person, is a christian self proclaimed expert on filmtracks (partly because he took a class on it in school). He tries never to favor particular composers, but does tend to have a positive bias with Jerry Goldsmith and Bruce Broughton. Among his favorite scores are Braveheart, The Lord of the Rings, Princess Mononoke, The Prince of Egypt, Rudy, Glory, Homeward Bound, The Horse Whisperer, The Thirteenth Warrior, Dances With Wolves, Pearl Harbor, Tombstone, The Return of the Jedi, ET, Independence Day, Star Trek Generations, Hook, and Star Trek First Contact (he also like Last of the Dogmen but wishes to wait until he can get the CD before making official judgments.) There may be many others not listed here that Ashi-taka enjoys, but cannot think of at the moment. Ashi-taka also does not like people who post hateful comments or make declarations without backing them up. He tries to respond to the hateful ones in a manner that he feels they should be posting, respectful and controlled. However, with those that make unsupported claims, he sometimes cannot help but wet his satyrical appetite.
