...and, to my mind, he simply sucks coz his scores are ostentatious, trivial, unoriginal, boresome and entertaingly idle.

What I think is that Williams is one of the worst and most trivial composers in the history of filmmusic, while Shore's music to Lord of the Rings is the best music ever written for a film. But, obviously, it's just my own opinion.
