If it's been posted here in the past, I apologize. But remember the scene in the Special Extended Edition of The Fellowship of The Ring, where Strider is leading the hobbits to Rivendell? I loved that new musical cue Shore composed for that scene; a very beautiful, slightly sad, and almost stoic-sounding version of the Fellowship theme.

This was also one of my most favorite scenes in the movie. As Jackson said, it helps fill the gap of time it takes for them to get from Bree to Rivendell, and better exemplifies the hardship of that particular journey. It also serves to better flesh out the early relationship between Aragorn and the hobbits.
