this is getting absolutely ridiculous.

first of all, this is a website about music. there are plenty of forums for discussing the books and movies.

second, read the books. it might do you some good. for those of you quoting tolkein in his stories, try quoting him straight out. for example, in the intro to FOTR, he specifically says that he hates allegory, and his work is, in no way, an allegory for anything. this doesnt mean some universal values present in christianity, and almost every other religion, are not present.

lastly, do your homework. i'm sick of all this uneducated bull being circulated around the internet because people regurgitate what others say. think for yourselves for once.
