How can they call this "complete" when some of the music is missing? God! We’re not stupid. This reminds of that crap called The Phantom menace: Ultimate Edition.
Therefore I would label this release as l>
I remember that Howard Shore said in an interview, that they were going to edit every note written for the movie, this is: the score used and unused, alternate tracks, different orchestrations, etc., but unfortunately, this release doesn’t contain the whole score for the Fellowship, but it’s certainly a great improvement over the first one.

Here’s a detailed inform on the missing music from the “complete recordings”:

The Prophecy. This excellent track hasn't been included.

The Shadow Of The Past. The first 14 seconds of this track are not included in the "complete recordings". An the choir section (which in the ost is so prominent) has been overshadowed by the high volume of the orchestra. A terrible mixing!

The treason of Isengard. From 02:54 to 03:10 not included.

The Back Rider. From 01:06 to 01:18 and from 01:40 to 01:44 not included. In the "complete recordings" the track titled "A Shortcut To Mushrooms" includes most of the music from "The Black Rider". And I must say that the editing as well as the mixing is very bad; again the orchestra is heard lauder than the choir (unlike in the ost); and the entrance of the choir is so abrupt that I'm almost convinced (because I couldn't find the lyrics for it) that it was cut in the middle of a word.

At The Sign Of The Prancing Poney. From 02:20 to 02:40 not included.

A Knife In The Dark. Some parts of the choral chant are different and a little bit shortened in the “complete recordings”. From 01:05 to 01:24 the choir has been removed, and only the orchestra is played.

Flight To The Ford. After the female solo ends, a soft and beautiful oboe is heard; but in the “complete recordings”, instead of the oboe, we hear the strings that accompany this gorgeous solo.

Many Meetings. From 02:25 to 03:05 Frodo’s strings performed theme is replaced by a solo flute.

The Council Of Elrond. From 00:53 to 01.00 not included. From 02:55 the sole flute is different from the one heard in the ost.

The Ring Goes South. From 00:00 to 00:45 it’s a different version from the ost.

Lothlorien. “Lament For Gandalf” is different from the ost.

The Great River. From 00:00 to 01:25 not included.

Amon Hen. From 02:37 to 02:47 not included.

The Breaking Of The fellowship. From 07:02 to 07:20 not included.

May It Be. This is the film version. Softer than that of the ost; and doesn’t include the synth choir, which is something better.
