I have to say that I'm not really a John Williams fan. I know he's a professional and his music works right in a movie but this way of complex orchestral writing doesn't really fit my taste as I prefer mood and innovative approach that's why love Hans Zimmer(Tears of The Sun, Black Hawk Down or Thin red Line) and Thomas Newman (Road To Perdition, Angels In America). But this score really is the best thing I heard for a while. Being tired after big scores (Batman Begins, Kingdom of Heaven) this subtle, beautiful an capturing music full of harmony and great solo performances was so refreshing! This years' academy nomination is probably guaranteed and it truly deserves it:)
