I think that William's work for Spielberg's "Munich" (which I have been listening for the last couple of days) is much better than Memoirs of a Geisha. It's definitely darker, it has however some nice themes, and interesting melodies. You will probably identify "Schindler's List" and "Angela's Ashes" in some passages, but there is NO self plagiarism. There is also cello performances and also some excellent Guitar parts, and you will also hear some very different vocals (ala Zimmer or Yared style) which is something new for Williams.

I strongly recommend it..
