excellent score, but have anyone notice?

I don't have enough words to appreciate his work for the movie "MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA". I have done great privilege in listening to his works. But one thing for sure that if you notice in the track "going to school",the starting drum beat and other instrumentation, it just remains you of the movie "THE LAST EMPEROR",which eventually composed by David Byrne( just starting music of the track 'main title'). This doesn't mean John has randomly copied from him, he should have influenced just the starting moment of the track. Overall, JOHN WILLIAMS IS THE BEST COMPOSER OF ALL TIME.
