  Pure magic

This is the type of soundtrack which amazes me every time I listen to it:contain superlong tracks which never get boring due to complex orchestrations, the use of unique instruments and excellent symphonic music.Merlin,as one can guess,is about the famous magician and the story of Arthur and Camelot from the perspective of Merlin.Cellos, xilofon, violins, brasses, piano and harps are the main instruments, and there are even some flute play and cymbal crashes. The music is very magical,well-performed,beautiful and never get too harsh and action-driven,
syrupy-romantic,extremely sad or happy - it contains magical, otherwordly, action,
romantic, relaxing, dramatic and sad music as well, but Trevor Jones manages to keep the balance among the musical elements - that' s where the magical effect of this album lies.
