Everybody seems to love Isham's Miracle as it is his best, but this score simply lacks speed and excitement.

The last track is very good but the rest just takes too long to get there, people seem to forget that and ignore it to give it better points.

While a good listen on its own, background speaking, only the final track is great, despite that I have the feeling it will work during the picture, anyway 3 stars for me too!

Respectfully disagree   Monday, April 26, 2004 (2:31 p.m.)

I actually find this score to be rather interesting. Its very melodic and pleasant to listen to, and despite being rather reserved until the final track, I never found it to become boring. It manages to change moods and tempo often enough to prevent it from running together.

As for the album presentation, I personally dislike the "multiple suites" approach where the music is presented in only a few very long tracks without cue breaks. It makes it difficult to skip to your favorite parts when they are in the middle of 10-15 minute tracks.

Music: ****
Album: *** (point deducted for the "suite" organization)
