Monsters Inc music and the review which appeared here   Saturday, July 24, 2004 (8:00 p.m.)

The above review about the music for Monsters Inc is really off base. I found
the music and especially the opening music fantastic and perfect for the movie.
As much as I enjoyed the movie, I enjoyed the music more, and often play the opening credits just so I can listen to the music. The kind of music the reviewer above wants for this movie would be fine for Bugs Bunny and other
movies meant for 3,4,and 5year olds, but this movie reaches all ages, and while silly, is also serious, and keeps you wondering about what is going to happen next.Bugs Bunny music would not work here, and the movie would not bring forth
many emotions with any other music.
I love this soundtrack. It is one of the first I have liked in a long time.
It must be good, since I've seen Nemo , and you know, I don't even remember if
it had music or not, and when you remember the music as well as the show, it has to be good.
