Interesting statement by Film Score Monthly:

"I have been trying my best to ignore Ford Thaxton, no matter how much his inane comments, bully-tactics and, to be polite, his creative use of the English language constantly piss me off.

Due to his constant posting of factual information, which is even helpful on occasion, people might be under the mistaken impression that he is a nice person. He has wreaked havoc all over the net for years now, particularly on the Babylon 5, Deep Space Nine, and seaQuest newsgroups, where he has come to blows with the shows' producers and has even inspired various legal departments to start files in his honor.

Despite my intentions not to get into flame-wars with Mr. Thaxton anymore, because everybody hates it, I don't like being told to be polite by some idiot whose favorite catch-phrase is 'blow me and swallow.'"
