I am just wondering why everyone is so hyped on this score. I have finally gotten a chance to hear it, and while it was good it wasn't amazing. I think there was a main difference between Jerry Goldsmith's scoring method and Alan Silvestri's. This difference was that Goldsmith scored the movie with evil undertones, Silvestri made his score kid friendly. Goldsmith's evil undertones worked much better for the series. I am for Goldsmith's score all the way, even though I have a great deal of respect for Silvestri. I miss the fact that I won't hear Goldsmith's score to this sequel.
