I have not actually listened to this score yet, (because it is so new) but I agree with goldsmithfan. I respect Alan Silvestri (he did Back to the Future, and Forrest Gump), but Goldsmith can pull off ethnical and foreign themes much better than anyone else. Whether this was Mr. Goldsmith's choice, or not I feel that there was a loss here. I was very interested in what he had to deliver to this sequel, but now I will never know.
