When I first heard that Alan Silvestri would compose the score for the sequel of The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, I were in seious doubts. Being a big fan of Mr. Goldsmith's works, I wondered if Mr. Silvestri could compose the same kind of excitement and action for the silver screen as Goldsmith. My anticipations proved to be wrong when I first saw the film: Music was rich in style and thematic material. One could not have hoped for a better score! Music works well in film and is equally great on CD. If you are about to buy this release, don't hesitate. Go to the nearest CD store and buy this record, you won't be dissapointed! This is a must for all film music enthusiasts around the world. Talented Mr. Silvestri has outdone himself. This is his finest score to date, no questions asked.
