I would have given this score at LEAST a four star rating. William Ross has created a very simplistic and beautiful piece of music. The first and last tracks alone are worth the price of the CD. Of course it's not for everyone, but those who enjoy scores like Rudy, The American President and of course Forrest Gump will find a lot to enjoy here. I personally think this score works better as a cohesive listening experience better than the Gump album. I wish Ross would get some more scoring assignments because he has proven time and time again that he can run with the big dogs and this score proves that once again. If you can find his score to Tin Cup and My Fellow Americans, both of those are excellent as well.
