67 minutes, but hardly any substance. that is how i feel about it. too bad.

the cue "a star shall come forth" is nice though

No substance? Really? The instrumentation is painstakingly authentic and the choral work is just beautiful.

It must be the lack of leitmotifs. My taste is maybe too much polarized towards work like John Williams'.
To be honest, i dont really care much for the authenticity of the instrumentation. It might be a nice touch to the score, but nothing more in my opinion.
The choral work is indeed very good. I prefer wordless choral work (like OOHH AAHH) over latin song. In fact i dont like that very much. In the end, I would give this score a thin 4 stars

John Williams is also my favorite composer, but I like other styles as well.

I guess it's just a matter of taste, not necessarily a lack of substance.
