Regarding the "End of the Spear" is quite good, and I give it an easy 3.5 stars out of five. The only thing keeping it from a solid four 1/2 is the fact that the composer Ron Owen did not have access to a premiere orchestra...which would have really helped to flush out his incredible themes and melodies!!

this music is gorgeous
there is the "feel
> good" Horner sound to it..but also the tragic..and beautiful
> melancholy of Hans Zimmer..
also actiony choir the realm of
> Ennio Morricone (think the Mission) and Jerry Goldsmith....
I love

soloists featured...are
acoustic guitar, vocals..usually two women..beautifully interwoven,
> ethnic flutes, and orchestral flutes, and choir...violin is also used
> beautifully...
