I have always been an advocator of experimentation in film music, and easily, Clint Mansell fits into that group. I was incredilbly surprised by Mansell's efforts here. I was impressed with his Thcaikovsky based 'Black Swan,' and felt something 'Big' was coming in the shape of 'Noah.' And here it is. This is a concise and informative review, Mr. Clemmenson.

It is nice - and dare I say it, different - to recieve a score, slightly off from the "Bilbles" and "Sons of Gods" designed by Zimmer and associates - not saying that these scores are without merit, but you feel the organic structure within Mansell's score here - less manipulation with synthetics.

Well done, Clint. My front runner for score of the year.
