This soundtrack is good because it keep the balance between the darker and the more optimistic elements of the story. There are tracks which reflect to the innocent and confused character of Oliver Twist, who always try to believe the good intentions of humans, even if it is hard to do so. Other tracks reflect to the frightening and awfully bad situations in which he get into (forced to join the team of Fagin and his bandits), and forced to commit a robbery, and witness a murder. This said, one can imagine that the soundtrack contains suspenseful, scary, menacing, omenous, idyllic, melancholic, sad and happier music as well in order to illustrate both the good and bad experiences of Oliver Twist.
