I encountered this review because I'm trying to locate a copy of the soundtrack. I love the music from this movie. it's got an African flavor. I think Blanchard was brilliant and inspired. I especially enjoy the opening theme which is replayed throughout the film in a a variety of modes. I also especially enjoy the excitement and intensity of the drums during the scene when Banderas' character is flying home on his horse when he realizes he's been deceived.
